OLIVES: AN HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE

WOULD YOU DRINK FUEL OIL?
Olives have a well-respected place in the annals of human history. They have been used for thousands of years, almost as long as the banana, a fruit with one of the most ancient histories of all.
Olives, however, have not been venerated as a food source; instead they have been used as fuel and animal fodder. It is for this reason, and no other, that olives have earned the high regard and frequent mention of both ancient and modern peoples.
The olives roots can be easily traced to the Middle East. This relatively barren land is almost completely devoid of trees, being mostly bleak desert. Historically, it was difficult to eek out a living on this land, and in most places, it still is. Farmers who worked without the assistance of internal combustion engines to till land and move water could only produce minimal crops. Without wood, people were forced to live primarily in caves. Without electricity, darkness was a real issue.
Oil from the olive has provided fuel for light to the people of the Middle East for the entire 6,000 years of their written history. Cave paintings dating back to before the advent of the written word depict both the milling of olives and the use of their oil for fueling lanterns. The Jewish "Festival of Lights," Hanukkah, recounts the time that a single days supply of olive oil (used to fuel the Hebrews Eternal Light) burned for eight days, until a new supply could be obtained.
After the oil is extracted from the olive for lamp fuel, what is done with the pulp? Historically, as today, olive pulp has been used as animal fodder, to feed sheep and other livestock. In fact, it can safely be said that the pulp left over after extracting the oil from all plant sourcescorn, seeds, nuts, legumes, palms, and so forthis used to feed livestock. Understand this connection and you will instantly see that using oils of any kind directly supports the growth and development of the livestock industries and is not an ethical, environmental, or moral "best choice."
WHOLE FOODS ARE ALWAYS NUTRITIONALLY BEST FOR US
All whole plant foods supply the three caloronutrientscarbohydrates, proteins, and fatsalong with a wide range of other nutrients, both macro and micro. Extracts such as olive oil are highly refined. They are stripped of their protein, carbohydrates, and fiber, leaving 100% fat. All impurities must be removed as well, or else the oil rapidly goes rancid.
Consuming such a dense calorie source of pure fat, one that supplies neither carbohydrates nor proteins, poses many health problems and brings to mind one of the most commonly asked nutritional questions, "Where do you get your protein?"
Some people claim, "I get my fat from bottles of oils, my protein from cans of powder, and my water separate from my food." This approach may satisfy our needs for protein and fat (leaving valid questions of bioavailability aside), but our largest caloronutrient need is for carbohydrates. The only way to obtain carbohydrates in an equally concentrated form would be as refined sugars, either in the form of confections, alcohol, or refined complex carbohydrates.
This extremely myopic view of nutrition has repeatedly been shown to be ineffective. There are thousands of nutrients to be considered, and the best source for all of them is whole foods. Relying on refined concentrates such as oils will invariably throw our total nutritional balance out of kilter and inevitably lead to malnutrition.
By consuming fruits and vegetables, we ensure that we are obtaining a balanced amount of all of our essential nutrients. When we resort to the use of oils, we cast aside needed nutrients in favor of pure fat.
GUIDELINES FOR DETERMINING OPTIMUM FOODS
Many guidelines can be used for determining which foods are optimum for us to eat. Nature has set these guidelines and demonstrates them in the eating habits shown by almost all creatures. If you can answer "yes" to all of the following questions, you have found a near-perfect food source.
Would you find it in nature?
There are many so-called "foods" that humans would just never naturally find. Tubers, for example, are a food source that you might never know existed, even if you walked directly above them, as they grow completely underground. Fruit hanging from a tree is easy to spot; in fact fruit draws attention to itself. But tubers might very well remain hidden from you for a lifetime, unless someone were to point them out to you. Olives, of course, are easy to spot on the tree; this is one criterion that they easily pass.
Is it easy to obtain, requiring no tools?
Food that requires serious effort or time to collect and that requires tools, gear, etc., cannot be considered our natural fare. We were born with, or develop as we reach adulthood, all of the necessary physical attributes for obtaining our food. No human was ever born with fishing, hunting, or beekeeping equipment. In contrast, we come packaged with everything we need (fingers and an opposable thumb) to pick olives.
Can you make a meal of it?
Most fruits make quite the acceptable meal, complete in and of themselves. Bananas, papayas, melons, mangosany of these foods would be delicious as a mono meal. Can you imagine a meal comprised solely of olives, straight from the tree? In fact, have you ever seen or even heard of olives being sold fresh? There is a reason you have not. Fresh, this fruit is terribly bitter. Are they edible? Yes. Are they delicious? No, they are bitter as can be.
Does it provide for our nutritional requirements?
The more closely that a foods nutritional package mimics our nutritional needs, the more easily it will digest and be absorbed. Foods whose nutrient components most closely match our needs must be considered the healthiest for us. Nutritionists and health experts worldwide agree that our caloronutrient mix (protein, fat, carbohydrate) should be skewed to greatly favor carbohydrates while minimizing fats and proteins. The caloronutrient ratio of the olive is approximately 80% fat, 4% protein and 16% carbohydrate, almost the opposite of our needs.
Can it be eaten fresh, in an "as is" condition?
Bananas, grapes, carambola, and practically all fruits can be eaten exactly as you find them, fresh off of the tree, bush, or vine. Olives cannot be consumed in this fashion; they require drying, salt curing, and often other processing in order to make them palatable. I have asked hundreds of olive growers and vendors around the world if they know of an olive variety that can be eaten with gusto directly off of the tree. All have agreed that there is no such fruit. This factor alone casts huge doubt on the use of olives as an often used human food source.
Does it leave you thirsty?
Thirst is an indicator that the toxins within your body are being concentrated to dangerously high levels. The sensation of thirst is a bodily induced symptom designed to make us aware that our need for water to maintain bodily homeostasis is becoming acute. Adding water does not detoxify us; it simply dilutes the toxic load of our body while ensuring that sufficient water is available for all essential cellular and systemic functions. Those foods that result in a sensation of thirst are dehydrating to us and should be avoided by the health seeker.
The use of any type of inorganic, extracted, or refined salt cannot be considered a health practice, as salt is one of the greatest dehydrators known to man. Drinking sea water will kill us via dehydration in a matter of days. Consuming one ounce of salt is the standard method of committing suicide in many Eastern cultures. The fact that olives are cured with salt takes them totally out of contention as an optimum food for any true health seeker.
THE DISCRIMINATING RAW FOODER SHUNS OLIVES
Simply put, olives are not a primary choice as a people food. While it is true that they are edible, and that their caloric density is extremely high, there is no way to consider them an optimum food. Almost every guideline for evaluating food quality exposes the fact that olives are lacking. They are never eaten fresh, rarely eaten ripe or organic, and often consumed only as a refined oil rather than as a whole food.
Too many fresh foods are available to avid health seekers to necessitate resorting to noxious bottled salted foods. If you still use olives on more than the most infrequent of occasions (a few times per year, tops), it is probably time for you to reconsider and reevaluate the quality of your raw diet. Perhaps it is time to do the experiment of dropping olives completely from your regimen and increasing the amount of whole, fresh, ripe, raw, organic fruits and vegetables in your diet.

Are We Slaves To Our Beliefs?

Beliefs will make you a slave. Beliefs are inherently wrong and imprison us to the degree we give them loyalty. That which is true and proper to our lives is known and does not have to be believed.
If you believe, you believe without proof. Truth always serves us.
Belief is a different animal altogether. Belief demands we serve it, not the other way around. This camouflages its basic character as exploitation and an enslaving device.
The nature of every belief system is to demand its acceptance and obedience. Not only does it tend to suppress and destroy differing belief systems, forcing, if it can, all to adopt its concepts, but it also seeks to suppress the truth as well. Practically all are in love with their belief to exclusion of the striking and self-evident truths in their lives.
By their very nature, all belief systems are false and inhuman. Simply, the truth does not have to be believed. Truth is always evident and easy to know, especially that relevant to ourselves and environment.
All belief systems are concocted in the minds of men and women. While virtually everyone disbelieves every system but his own, in some areas, notably so-called medical science, almost all accept it as above question or reproach.
We do not have to believe the truth. Truth is verifiable. It can be known. Beliefs are not verifiable but are absurdly easy to disprove. The truth always stays around regardless.
All the belief in the world does not change one truth! For instance, it was only a few hundred years ago that everyone believed the earth to be flat. For uttering the heresy that the earth was round, the Catholic Church burned scientists of the time at the stake.
But all the beliefs notwithstanding, the earth was not thereby flattened a bit. To insist that your beliefs are true is sheer arrogance and nonsense. Please do not confuse beliefs with theories. Theories are temporary while beliefs have a habit of being final.
Beliefs are really illusions and delusions. It is said that the hardest person in the world to face is yourself. Likewise, most in our world are the victims of deep-seated beliefs and refuse to face the fact that they are enslaved and exploited by and through them.
Mental laziness is exemplified in refusing to face up to the fact that beliefs that make us easily exploitable are implanted in us when we are growing up and accept what is taught uncritically. Mental laziness is in refusing to take step to discover the truth that would cast off the shackles of beliefs or slavery. Thus, by default, we continue our slavish, harmful and deleterious ways, not only to ourselves but to those with whom we're associated.
Many of us are misled into believing the medical system and all its train of absurdities. All that I have cited above applies to the belief system perpetrated as the medical system or, in sophisticated terms, "medical science."
There is no science in drugging people who have been brought under the absurd belief that they can be poisoned into health with drugs when called medicines.
There is no science in a system that does not and cannot deliver health as it purports to do. That which does not work is unscientific. That which does work is scientific. Very simply, the medical system does not work in practice.

I couldnt believe what I was reading! The medical profession was going to use nutrition to help patients with arthritis and kidney problems. But, as I read on, I found out that they were using nutrition in the same manner as they use drugsmerely to suppress symptoms! And they were advocating withholding essential fatty acids from the diet of sick people because by doing so the inflammatory process was impaired as well as impeded.
The following quotation was in regard to all rheumatic diseases, such as arthritis and lupus erythematosus: "Deposition of immune complexes is a major pathogenetic (meaning structural damage to tissues) mechanism in many of these conditions. Enhanced ability to develop immune reactions in some modern population groups may result from their improved nutritional status over that of prior generations, thus leading to the apparent increase in incidence of these diseases."
The medical profession, in general, thinks in such strange ways that I have often said that its thinking is backwards, upside down, and inside out. The profession is actually lamenting that the present day population has stronger immune systems, which they say is producing a more intense inflammation and actually causing the pathological changes in arthritis, as well as causing an increase in the incidence of arthritis with its autoimmune problem such as is seen in Lupus Erythematosus.
What is being said by these researchers is that our own immune system is causing the destruction and damage of tissues in cases of chronic arthritis and apparently causing an increase in arthritis itself! If the profession only knew how easily acute arthritis is remedied by fasting and correct living, maybe they would think differently. But according to their thinking The "Immune System" which is the bodys means of defense is the cause of degeneration! How backwards can one be?
The Immune system is a defense system, and should be called The Defense System. It defends us from foreign agents. Immunity is a fantasy. We can never become "immune to disease" as long as the causes of disease abound. It is a cause and effect situation and cant be otherwise. If The Defense System is working well, it is going to protect us as best it can under all circumstances. If the causes of any disease are not removed, then chronic disease develops and, yes, there will be structural damage over the years. But this is because of chronic provocation and not because of the defensive measures the body is forced to take against all the toxic substances. Toxins and impaired functioning from wrong living are the cause of the pathology and not our defense mechanisms.
When chronic toxemia prevails the body has to learn to live with the toxins. Therefore, it sets up defenses against them so that the underlying tissues wont be destroyed or damaged. People think they are not hurt by their poison habits. They have a tendency to rationalize, "I have drunk coffee for years, my body is used to it. Im adapted to it. It doesnt hurt me. Besides, it gives me the boost I need to get going." People do not understand that there is no genuine adaptation to a poison. The body merely tolerates foreign substances; it never adapts to them. It goes down fighting. There is no such thing as true adaptation as addicts undergo changes that reduce the vigor of their resistance to toxic substances such as nicotine, caffeine, as well as medications, but the fact that they are progressively damaged by taking these poisons indicate that no true adaptation occurs. The body just tolerates them.
We have a wonderful organism which enables us to learn to tolerate almost anything but the detrimental nature of the substances with which we force our bodies to "adapt" is commonly overlooked. Even today the majority of people seem to ignore the abundance of information that warns of the dangers of many harmful products and substances commonly consumed/and or used. For instance, it was just announced on FOX news, May 2, 2003, that seven of the last 8 high school killings were done by those children who were on antidepressants. Yet, the medicating continues on and on, because families have no time to care for their children and do not know how to fix the problem without drugs.
THERE IS NO TRUE ADAPTATION
Dr. Herbert M. Shelton formulated a law which explains this perfectly. It follows: "Every adaptation to inimical substances is achieved by changes in the tissues which are away from the ideal." For example an individual who takes his first drag on a cigarette, quickly establishes tolerance but at the expense of his/ her sense of smell and taste. The lining tissues of his/her nose, pharynx, mouth, trachea become thickened and rendered less sensitive to stimuli. If smoking is long continued soon the ciliated columnar cells of the lungs lose their little fringe-like cilia that beat in a manner to push foreign particles up to larger bronchi so they can be expelled by coughing. If these are destroyed by cigarette smoke the pollutants in the air such as carcinogenic automobile exhaust cannot be expelled by the lungs, and the individual will be more predisposed to the development of cancer. A little later these tall column-like cells become flattened like skin cells. Instead of being one layer of tall cells with cilia on them they become flattened like fried eggs and packed one on top of the other five or six deep throughout the lungs. That is why the pathology develops and not because of the inflammatory products which the medical profession is fighting.
It is unfortunate but the medical profession still thinks that it is the Immune Systems products that are causing the disease itself. Here is their thinking: "A variety of immune mechanisms occur in these (rheumatic) diseases: we are beginning to recognize and understand nutritional influences on these immune phenomena, which may become more important in the future." (Mod Nut 1472) Actually there is a complete failure to understand the real causes of disease; and disease itself. What they are trying to do is to get rid of the inflammation instead of getting rid of the cause of the inflammation.
Inflammation is a complicated process and it does many things in order to repair, defend and to heal tissues all over the body. If you cut your finger inflammation comes to your aid, and in a week or so, depending on the size of the cut, the cut will be healed. If you get a thorn in your finger, the site of the thorn becomes inflamed. If you leave it long enough the body itself pushes the thorn out. The inflammation, the exudation into the area, the white blood cells and all the inflammatory products abound. Then one day the thorn just pops out with the fluid exudate and white blood cells.
The same thing happens, but quite differently, in animals. My dog got tangled up in a cactus bed, getting not one, but hundreds of large and small needles in her. They hurt her so much she would not let me pull any out. The tiny almost microscopic ones were really bad. I would try to pull them out because they did not seem to hurt the dog as did the big ones; but they would just break off leaving only a tiny almost microscopic point so close to the skin you could not even get it with tweezers. Nothing would get those out. But Mother Nature came to "Peachess" rescue. There was an exudate around the spines which would not wash off easily. I bathed peaches but made sure I did not touch the spines because it would hurt me as well as Peaches. The exudate was blackish on the spine and all around it for about a quarter of an inch. I was scrutinizing every change on my dogs skin, just wondering what would happen in dogs. I knew from experience what happens in humans. Meanwhile, Peaches did not seem to be suffering much at all. Finally, I realized that these spines were dissolving; they were shorter and did not hurt Peaches as in the beginning. So I started scratching at them a little. The black exudate and whatever was left of the spines just came off easier than dandruff. Her body rid itself of the prickly pear spines by its own exudate. She was definitely in pain when they were first stuck into her and there was no way she would let me take them out. I would have had to tie her down or anesthetize her, and as I did not want to do either I waited upon Mother Nature. Needless, to say Peaches does not go near cactus anymore.
Inflammation is a healing process. There will be heat, redness, swelling, pain, and impaired function until abrasions or cuts have healed. Would you give yourself a medication to prevent the inflammation? If you did you would be preventing the very healing process itself. If you put your hand in a fire, and it was burning your hand, would you take a medication to keep your hand in the fire? The answer is so evident that it makes you scoff. Then why cant the medical profession see that? You dont need drugsyou need to find causes and eliminate them; and they are not bacteria! They are in our lifestyles.
The medical profession is now thinking about manipulating diets in order to modulate the inflammatory response to injury. It is stated: The "Generation of a series of biologically active fatty acids from arachidonic acid, the prostaglandins, and leukotrienes forms another key component of the inflammatory process. Many of these processes can be affected by nutritional influences. Recent studies have focused primarily on the role of dietary fatty acids." Mod Nut 1472-73
Protaglandins and leukotrienes cause things to happen that are a part of the inflammatory process which physicians are trying to quell. Prostaglandins are any of a class of physiologically active substances that are present in many tissues causing dilation or constriction of arteries, stimulation of intestinal or bronchial smooth muscles, stimulation of the uterus, and antagonism to hormones that influence lipid metabolism. Leukotrienes are products of eicosanoid metabolism, usually in metabolizing arachidonic acid, a fatty acid. These two substances, the prostaglandins and leukotrienes are synthesized by numerous cells in our bodies including leukocytes and platelets. These products are synthesized from essential fatty acids and arachidonic acid, which may be essential to mice and rats. Both prostaglandins and leukotrienes are mediators of inflammation but we need to realize that they also perform many other important functions besides being mediators of inflammation. To quell the function of these products is to impair function in many other places in the body besides the inflammatory spot if there is one. To stifle their physiological activities by any method, be it cortisol other medication, or by diet, is damaging to say the least. These prostaglandins of the E series cause many of the pathophysiological changes in inflammation such as vasodilation, so more blood is brought to the area for nourishment and healing, this is the hyperemia (extra blood) in inflammation. Also, they cause tenderness as well as exudation around the injury. Prostaglandins, in a roundabout way though the suppressor T cells, cause an increased antibody production, at least in the laboratory.
Another thing engaging the interest of physicians is that arachidonic acid is preferentially incorporated into the phospholipids of activated lymphocytes, and arachidonic acid constitutes over 20% of the total phospholipid fatty acids of macrophages. These cells are prominent in inflammation and even more so when activated. Can you not see from this that the body, by preference wants and needs arachidonic acid to be incorporated with the phospholipids in the lymphocytes and the macrophages? It needs these in order to develop the inflammatory process. It is essential to their proper function. (Mod Nut1473) So what are they going to do? They are going to feed a diet deficient in essential fatty acids and high in Omega 3 fatty acids to take the place of arachidonic acid in the cell membrane in order to prevent the action of prostaglandins and leukotrienes, and inflammation in general from occurring!
Here the medical mentality research thinking at its best: "Diets deficient in essential fatty acids can modify the response of experimental animals to inflammatory stimuli. For example mice on a diet deficient in essential fatty acids showed a significant reduction in immune responses, both primary and secondary. Responses to both T-cell-dependent and T-cell-independent antigens were blunted. Evidence for diminution in immune response on a diet deficient in essential fatty acids was reported in F1 hybrids of New Zealand Black and New Zealand White (NZB/NZW) mice, who developed a form of glomerulonephritis, accompanied by antinuclear antibodies. Pathologically, this disease resembles the renal disease seen in human systemic lupus erythematosus. These rats uniformly die before one year of age, but litter-mates kept on a diet deficient in essential fatty acids have a much lower incidence of renal disease, and a considerably longer survival. The rats on a diet deficient in essential fatty acids showed a decreased incidence of glomerulonephritis, decreased subepidermal deposition of immunoglobulins, and decreased development of antibodies to double-stranded DNA") Mod Nut 1473.
It is almost unbelievable that the medical profession will prescribe a diet that withholds the feeding of essential fatty acids. The reason follows:
"Rats on a diet deficient in essential fatty acids show reduced experimental chronic inflammation. ("Experimental" means the inflammation was caused by something the laboratory did to the rats to cause it. Author) Adjuvant arthritis, an experimental form of inflammation that is widely used for screening drug effects, is suppressed in rats fed such a diet. Inflammatory exudate induced experimentally in these animals is decreased in quantity, and has a lower concentration of prostaglandins than in controls fed a normal diet. In another study, a diet containing evening primrose oil comprised of 9% linoleic acid and only 0.3T arachidonic acid shifted prostaglandin synthesis toward E1 from E2. In rats on this diet, the chemotactic response of polymorphonuclear leukocytes is significantly impaired." Mod Nut 1473
Can you believe this? They are really pleased that they can decrease the inflammatory response by feeding a diet deficient in the essential fatty acids. They decreased the inflammatory exudate and prostaglandins that is sorely needed under these circumstances. These diets decrease the normal chemotactic function of polymorphonuclear leukocytes These white blood cells no longer instinctively called to the site of injury as they normally are. They continue with even more ominous information.
BEWARE OF OMEGA-3 FATTY ACIDS!
"Changes in dietary fatty acids can bring about alterations of the fatty acid composition of membrane lipids. Feeding with diets high in omega-3 fatty acids results in such compounds substituting for the arachidonic acid in membrane lipids in man and laboratory animals. When stimuli result in prostaglandin formation, the resulting compounds differ from those produced from arachidonate, which are mostly of the 2 series. The omega-3 fatty acid studied most extensively is eicosapentanoic acid (EPA), WHICH IS PRESENT MAINLY IN DIETARY FISH OILS. Mod Nut 1473
Lets analyze the first sentence: "Changes in dietary fatty acids can bring about alterations of the fatty acid composition of membrane lipids." This is the worst thing that we would ever want to do! The body builds a particular kind of fatty acid in its cell membrane because of its need for that special one to maintain the correct structure of the membrane and to protect the cytoplasm and all its organelles and membranes within the cell itself. The cell membrane is one of the most important structures in the body! It prevents substances it does not need and which are therefore harmful from penetrating it. Its structure and function requires large quantities of arachidonic acid. It does require the omega-3 fatty acids! The omega-3 fatty acids are long chain polyunsaturated fats that are less stable than arachidonic acid. The omega-3 fatty acids do not prevent atherosclerosis as we have been told. Yet they still want to change the physiology of our cell membrane by feeding fish oils that were proved damaging years ago!
It is advocated that we need diets high in omega-3 fatty acids because these have been found to turn up in the cell membrane on diets lacking in arachidonic acid and essential amino acids. We should shun a diet lacking in the essential amino acids. We need them. Why take anything other than what the body really wants and needs? If it puts arachidonic acid in the cell membrane then that is what should be there. "Feeding with diets high in omega-3 fatty acids results in such compounds substituting for the arachidonic acid in membrane lipids in man and laboratory animals." People in the health field have been wrongly advising people to eat fish oils in order to get the "marvelous omega-3 fatty acids,. aka eicosapentanoic acid (EPA). This is harmful and was proven so years ago.
Recently it has been found that the most severe degree of atherosclerosis was observed in rabbits fed fish oil, with a similar trend in the linseed oil (flax) group. It has also been documented that feeding fish oils rich in omega-3 fatty acids slows down clotting time, in other words the bleeding time is increased even in Eskimos on a high fish oil diet. Other laboratories have described the dangers of omega-3 fatty acid fish oils containing 20 carbon atoms with five double bonds; and those containing 22 carbon atoms with 6 double bonds. These fish oils promote the development of cardiac necrosis (death of heart muscle cells)and an increased sensitivity to catecholamine (epinephrine and norepinephrine) stress. It has also been discovered that yellow fat disease is a result of tocopherol deficiency, which occurs only when oils rich in omega-3 polyunsaturated fats are in the diet creating a need for more Vitamin E. Yellow fat disease as a consequence of feeding omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, has been observed in cats, swine, wild rabbits, Shetland ponies, rats, horses, and minks. In piglets, even excess tocopherol from administering mackerel oil cannot prevent yellow fat disease.
Now they are extolling the value of omega-3- fatty acids which in addition to kicking out arachidonic acid from the cell membrane also changes the composition of prostaglandins, as well as other structures in the body! This is definitely detrimental. It cant be anything else.
I have stated before that the profession has always been trying to quell inflammation as if it were something damaging. Here it is from their own mouths: "Most of the drugs used in the treatment of the rheumatic diseases affect synthesis of prostaglandins. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs inhibit a key early step in the synthesis of these compounds: the cyclo-oxygenase that converts arachidonic acid to prostaglandins. Phospholipase activity, which releases arachidonic acid from membrane lipids, is decreased by treatment with corticosteroids. Such approaches, diminishing prostaglandin formation, are more practical in patients at this time, but in the future dietary modifications may be found to be a safe and effective means of altering the responsiveness of the cells involved in the inflammatory process. Alterations in fatty acid content of the diet, such as supplementation with eicosapentanoic acid, could by reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins, offer a novel and nontoxic approach to the modulation of a chronic inflammatory response." Mod Nut 1474
Putting people on fatty acid deficient diets may be a novel approach to the "modulation" of a chronic inflammatory response, but it certainly is not a nontoxic way. We the people who want freedom for all so strongly that we go to war for it are not willing to give our God-given bodies any freedom to function the way it was supposed to! We always want a cure! We want to modulate inflammation! We want to get rid of the pain and disease quickly. It is sad but we are in too much of a hurry to wait upon the natural healing capacities of the body. Our bodies are struggling to be free from toxins, medications, poison habits, and dead food yet we keep forcing these noxious, poisonous and pernicious substances upon it. When we feel the rebellion of our own bodies, then we poison it still more. Is that sanity?
